The college has a general library, which was started along with the inception of the college. General library is housed in an independent block. Library is open to all students and members of staff of the college. General library supports academic activities of the institution through its rich collection of information resources. The library is equipped with 42000+ physical collections of books in the area of Economics, History, Computer science, Commerce, Literature (English, Hindi & Sanskrit), Political Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Psychology and management studies. We also have titles on competitive examinations and special collection on Buddhism and Gandhian literature. In addition to books, library subscribes to periodicals and newspapers for its users. SCAM subscribe to N-LIST which provide access to e-resources subscribed by the UGC-INfoNet Digital Library Consortium. Apart from the central library, there is a department library in all the PG departments under the control of a faculty member of the department. Students can make use of this facility for reference. Books are issued to PG students from this library.
A book bank is functioning in almost every department of the college. Retired faculty, alumni, faculty, parents and other well-wishers of the college, contributes the books to book bank. Once in an academic year the departments conduct a book exhibition in order to make the students familiar with the titles.
